So after many requests I'm doing the Art of High Tea workshops again, this time I've teamed up with the wonderful Georgina Worthington of High Tea of Highgate. Set in these fab tea rooms a range of workshops over full and half days with tea sampling, cake and decorating tea cups and saucers will start with a half day on April 10th from 10 am to 1 pm.

Ok so it's not really new years any more, but I was away most of Jan so it still feels new to me!

I love this tip to use up old Xmas cards particularly as mine were still kicking around, too nice to throw away, but this will work for any cards birthday, easter etc.
This couldn't be simpler, up-cycling 101.. I did this at school in fact and remembered these this January. How to turn your old cards into gift tags.

Pick cards which have a good central image on the card, with nothing written on the back of the image, cut around the image in a pretty fashion, long and lean rectangles work great, or stars and bubbles..

Just wanted to post to say a big thank you to all the wonderful visitors who came to the workshop to decorate tea cups and saucers this Saturday, it was a great day and I really enjoyed sharing the method of up-cycling! a pic below of the visitors busily decorating! Thanks to the V&A for having me!
