Current work
I'm part of a Hampshire-based art collective known as '5am' which is exhibiting at the National Trust's Mottisfont Abbey this summer (the name came about as there are five of us and we have each found ourselves still working on projects at 5am on occasion!). Our work is inspired by the theme of fishing flies ... the Abbey lies immediately alongside the River Test and you will often see lots of fish loitering beneath the footbridge, no doubt waiting for small children to throw them titbits! If you haven't yet visited Mottisfont, it is a super location for a day out with plenty for all the family ... beautiful walled gardens, riverside walks, kids' activities, a lovely historic house/former priory and, of course, art exhibitions! Keep an eye out for my piece, 'Mottisfont House Fly'. Hope you can make it. x
